We invited them to a Date with the King. Not as they were, but as God sees them—as Queen Esthers for their time. These photos capture more than just a party; they capture the moment a girl realizes she is a Daughter of the Most-High King.
They arrived with hearts full of expectation. For this local community in Cebu, Philippines, a luxury resort is often a world away—a place they might never enter as a guest. But today, they weren’t just visitors; they were royalty.
As they stepped into the ballroom, the air changed. They were met with wedding-level elegance—tables overflowing with flowers and banquet settings that whispered, “You are worthy of the very best”.
We completed their beautiful dresses with jeweled crowns and princess wands. For the men and boys, we chose fun, silly hats. In this playful transformation, a deeper lesson began: the men were being prepared to provide, bless, and protect the princesses in their lives. True royalty is found in honor. Guided by the hotel staff, the “princes” served every course—from fabulous soup and delicious meals to high tea and beautifully decorated desserts. As they served, the princesses were trained to recognize, appreciate, and honor the men, learning how the Lord calls us to love one another.
Watching the film “One Night With the King,” the story of Esther came to life. The hotel staff looked on, deeply moved. They know these families come from very impoverished backgrounds, yet here they were, being treated with a level of dignity and grace that brought tears to many eyes.
Then came the celebration! We taught them to twirl and curtsy, and in a contest where everyone was a winner, each girl received beautiful jewelry to take home—a tangible reminder of the day their identity shifted forever.
These faces tell the story of lives transformed by God’s Glory. This mission around the world shows every “forgotten” daughter that she is a Queen. Thank you for helping us to change lives and elegantly crown the next generation.
