I felt like I was under water – drowning. When I come here, I see a family: a very united family. I see a happy family. I see Karen. She is so sweet and has such a beautiful spirit. I see Raoul with such knowledge, it makes me say, wow. Wow. Tremendous.
It is an experience, I said wow. Like it was just wow… It was more. It was like it was another level. The Bible was no longer just the Bible, it was no longer just letters. No, it was a tremendous connection! Unbelievable. Incredible – it was beautiful. Yes… I feel embraced and I feel sheltered. I feel like I don’t lose that connection. I am learning to know a God who was unknown to me. And now he is not. Now, I believe – I believe in that God. I believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I believe in Him. I am so happy to know Him.
It’s like the waters have parted – the waters have opened up to know this God.

Me sentí como si estuviera bajo el agua, ahogándome. Cuando vengo aquí, veo una familia: una familia muy unida. Veo una familia feliz. Veo a Karen. Ella es tan dulce y tiene un espíritu tan hermoso. Veo a Raoul con tanto conocimiento que me hace decir, guau. Guau. Enorme. Es una experiencia, dije guau. Como si fuera simplemente guau… Era más. Era como si fuera otro nivel. La Biblia ya no era solo la Biblia, ya no eran solo letras. ¡No, fue una conexión tremenda! Increíble. Increíble, fue hermoso. Sí…
Me siento abrazado y me siento protegido. Siento que no pierdo esa conexión. Estoy aprendiendo a conocer a un Dios que me era desconocido. Y ahora no lo es. Ahora, yo creo, yo creo en ese Dios. Creo en el Dios de Abraham, Isaac y Jacob. Yo creo en Él. Estoy tan feliz de conocerlo. Es como si las aguas se hubieran separado: las aguas se han abierto para conocer a este Dios.
